Role Overview

It checks live availability, takes and confirms bookings, handles reschedules and cancellations, and sends reminders — all in real time, so your calendar stays accurate and customers can book or change plans whenever they want, without waiting on staff.

Responsibilities

• Checks live availability in real time before confirming anything, so double-bookings can't happen
• Takes new bookings from start to finish across connected channels
• Handles reschedules and cancellations, updating availability instantly
• Confirms each booking and sends the customer all relevant details automatically
• Sends timely booking reminders to reduce no-shows
• Answers booking-related questions — availability, timings, policies — from your knowledge base
• Keeps your booking system continuously accurate and up to date
• Handles booking changes politely and clearly, in your brand's tone and the customer's language
• Logs every booking, change, and cancellation into your system automatically
• Escalates only the genuine edge cases it should never decide alone — with full context attached
